Bhagyanagar (Hyderabad) : MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi of ‘MIM (Majalis Ittehadul Muslimin)’, a Muslim organization, has demanded to impose ban on processions taken out on Hindu festivals viz. ‘Ram-Navami’ and ‘Hanuman-Jayanti’. Hindu organizations are angered due to such demand by Owaisi. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose : Father of the Indian Freedom

Subhash Chandra Bose was one of India’s greatest freedom fighter. He was the founder of the Indian National Army, popularly known as ‘Azad Hind Fauj’. Netaji Bose had visited London during pre-independence period to discuss the future of India, with the members of the Labor party. Life

Subhash Chandra Bose was born on 23 January, 1897 in Cuttack (Orissa) to Janakinath Bose and Prabhavati Devi. Janakinath Bose was one of the successful lawyer in Cuttack and received the title of “Rai Bahadur”. He, later became a member of the Bengal Legislative Council.

History is most unforgiving. As historical mistakes cannot be undone, they have complex cascading effect on a nation's future. Here are seven historical blunders that have changed the course of independent India's history and cast a dark shadow over its future. These costly mistakes will continue to haunt India for generations. They have been recounted here in a chronological order with a view to highlight the inadequacies of India's decision-making apparatus and the leadership's incompetence to act with vision.

NO 1: KASHMIR MESS  There can be no better example of shooting one's own foot than India's clumsy handling of the Kashmir issue. It is a saga of naivety, blinkered vision and inept leadership.
Hari Singh was the reigning monarch of the state of Jammu and Kashmir in 1947. He was vacillating when tribal marauders invaded Kashmir inOctober 1947, duly backed by the Pakistan army. Unable to counter them, Hari Singh appealed to India for assistance and agreed to accede to India. Indian forces blunted the invasion and re-conquered vast areas.
First, India erred by not insisting on unequivocal accession of the state to the Dominion of India and granted special status to it through Article 380 of the Constitution.

Secondly, when on the verge of evicting all invaders and recapturing the complete state, India halted operations on 1 January 1949 and appealed to the Security Council. It is the only case in known history wherein a country, when on the threshold of complete victory, has voluntarily forsaken it in the misplaced hope of winning admiration of the world community.

Kashmiri Pandit’s Exile Day

Today marks 23 years of exile for Kashmiri Pandits out of their homeland. What were their crime for which they were compelled to flee out of their own Matribhmi, Pitubhumi, Punyabhumi ? Their crime was that they were the inheritors of the real ‘Kashmiriat’ which started from Shankaracharya Mandir, flew through Jhelum going till the feet of Maa Ksher Bhawani. But what happened when the propagators of the ‘religion of Peace’ reached there ?

They were expelled from thier own motherland.

Their saffron fields were set on fire.

Their properties were looted.

Their Women were brutally raped and assaulted.

There were slogans everywhere.

Three taped slogans were repeatedly played the whole night from mosques:

“Kashmir mei agar rehna hai, Allah-O-Akbar kehna hai” (If you want to stay in Kashmir, you have to say Allah-O-Akbar);

“Yahan kya chalega, Nizam-e-Mustafa” (What do we want here? Rule of Islam);

“Asi gachchi Pakistan, Batao roas te Batanev san” (We want Pakistan along with Hindu women but without their men).

Can their voices be muted forever. Aren’t they citizens of World’s largest demoracy ? They re living in refugee camps in their own country in highly inhuman conditions .Aren’t we answerable to them ?

Kashmir is incomplete withoot it’s original inhabitants, without Kashmiri Pandits.

What is Sanatan Dharm?

The religion which eternally exists in God, which is revealed by God, which describes the names, forms, virtues and the abodes of God, and which reveals the true path of God realization for all the souls is called Sanatan Dharm, the universal religion for the whole world.

The word DHARM is formed from the root word dhryan (dhryan dharne); it means such actions and such spiritual or religious practices that finally result in all-good for a soul. A general description ofdharm is:

 It means that such actions, thoughts and practices that promote physical and mental happiness in the world (abhyudaya) and ensure God realization (nishreyas) in the end, are called dharm.

There are two kinds of dharmas: (a) Apar dharm, or varnashram dharm, or seemit dharm, or general dharm, and (b) par dharm or bhagwat dharm.
