It is time we think of our own solutions:Bhagwat

Shri Mohanrao Bhagwat, Sar Sangh Chalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. was speaking at a symposium “Global Scenario: Bharat, Sangh and we.

December 19, 2011, New Delhi: Political interference is the only impediment towards construction of a grand temple of Lord Ram at Ayodhya, said Shri Mohanrao Bhagwat, Sar Sangh Chalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Shri Bhagwat was speaking at a symposium “Global Scenario: Bharat, Sangh and We” in front of a huge gathering of lecturers, professors and teachers of Delhi.
Shri Bajrang Lal Gupta, Shri Shyam Sunder Agarwal and Shri Kulbhushan Ahuja were present on the dais along with Shri Mohanrao Bhagwat.
“It may take two to three years to take possession of the entire piece of land at Ayodhya. I feel the apex court will take this much time to decide about the case. The moment we get land a grand temple will be built at the birth place of Bhagwan Ram in Ayodhya,” said Shri Bhagwat. Elaborating further he added that as things stand today, we need to take permission of the law of the land. “It has been conclusively proved that there did exist a grand temple beneath the surface at the birth place of Bhagwan Ram in Ayodhya. Even the courts have accepted this,” he said.
Touching upon other issues, Shri Bhagwat said though the world has made several attempts to gain prosperity yet a peaceful co-existence with nature still eludes us. He said that we seem to be in a vicious cycle of various solutions. Of late, there is a growing feeling that humans are the masters of Mother Nature. And this has led to an insatiable greed all across. “There is sufficient for every one’s need but Nature cannot satisfy even one individual’s greed.”
Today, thinkers of all hues are eagerly looking towards Bharat to provide a solution, which is sustainable and can bring peace and harmony all around. This solution should indeed be indigenous for Bharat, as borrowed solutions have done no good to any body. Shri Bhagwat said there is no need to borrow solutions either from Britain or from Russia or from anywhere else.
Castigating the undue haste by which foreign direct investment was allowed in multi-brand retail Shri Bhagwat said the retail sector of our country is not strong enough to face the economic might of multinational retailers such as the Wal-Mart. “Why this sudden and undue haste in allowing foreign direct investment in retail?” he asked.
“We have been aimlessly jumping from one extreme solution to another. This should end. And it is time we think of our own solutions which is based on our own needs and available resources,” he said.  Shri Bhagwat added that we should think of ourselves as part of the Nature and not the owners or masters of Mother Nature.
